Word [wedding] made flesh [marriage]:
This was our whipper snapper wedding ten years ago today. We said words that have been tested every which way ever since. Words to live up to. Casting your path with words is like setting yourself up to fly and fall at the same time. It’s funny how marriage gets associated with mediocrity because I think it’s the furthest from entrenched, obdurate, safe living that you can get.
Our wedding was one thing but the real story is our falling flying, sinking soaring marriage. What a story! We have both had to be better people than we ever thought possible. And aged ten (in married years), I still really love my mister. Nobody else will do.

I like this way of seeing word made flesh. So true. Happy anniversary!
