It’s what we all think once those first signs appear; the first cicada soundscape, the first three digit temperature, the first time that even the suggestion of cladding your feet in shoes makes you overheat.
But it’s bad advice. We all know that bracing yourself is the worst thing that you can do. No, no, no — this sign should read; slow down, lower your expectations and flow with the season as it presents itself. They probably just didn’t have enough letters for that.
